MARK YOUR CALENDARS for April 21st….our First Annual Dirt Day!!  Now, I’m sure your asking what is a Dirt Day?  That’s the day that we’ll be opening our hugh pile of topsoil for everyone to play in this summer.  We have lots of  toy buckets, shovels, trucks, tractors, etc. to help build bridges, roads, whatever you want to see in this dirt.  DON’T forget…..don’t wear your good clothes, ’cause you’re gonna get dirt!!  And mom’s you might want to cover those pretty seats in those cars for the trip home!!!

Lots of fun things happening this spring and summer.  You’ll want to check back often for events and fun things.  We are quickly becoming a wedding destination, so if you’re planning a wedding, you might just want to check with us.  Need a wedding or groom’s cake…we will design one for your special day.

How to get here….we’ve put out signs but they keep disappearing.  If you’ll come to Ardmore and turn on Ardmore Ridge Road…that’s north of the railroad, go approximately 3 miles and at the bottom of “Spook” Hollow Hill make a Right (that’s Lofton Hall Road).  Go about 500 yards and at the bridge that crosses the creek make a left.  We are the second drive on the left.  If you get lost, just call and we’ll guide you in.

We invite you to bring your entire family and come experience ‘farm’ life.  Eat in our farmhouse style restaurant.  You will step back in time as you see the antique features on the walls and listen to the old songs as they play out on the ‘player’ piano.  You’ll be able to smell the aroma of fresh baked breads, pies and cakes when you step out of your car.  Dine-in and enjoy a table on the porch or let us fix you a picnic basket full of homemade treats and find a secluded table in the woods and just enjoy nature.  Everything is homemade and generation tested!!  Spend time browsing our country store filled with old time favorites.

Maybe you need that perfect place to take that memorable picture.  We have so many options available.  From formal settings to down-home country.  We are the perfect place for birthday parties, weddings, reunions, any ‘family’ friendly event.  Any time of the year is the perfect time to visit.  Spring on the farm is filled new babies, fresh grass and lots of flowers.  Summer will follow with fresh garden vegetables and the smell of fresh cut hay.  Fall will be ablaze in all it’s glory and winter is the silent beauty, a place for reflection and renewal.

One of the main goals for our farm is to offer a teaching experience for everyone.  We offer tours for school children, complete with lunch.  We want them to know all about farm life.  See chickens and other birds on their nest.  Hear the donkeys bray for attention. Come pet the animals.  Walk the wooded trails.  Visit the garden and see plants as they grow and produce.  Play in our unique playground or go for a slow horse-drawn wagon ride.   Ask questions about how things are grown or where they come from.
